Michael Coleman⎮Michael Coleman, a native of Provo, Utah, draws inspiration from key 19th-century Hudson River School masters such as Henry Farny, Thomas Moran, and George Inness, along with 20th-century animal painter Carl Rungius. His richly detailed, muted-toned paintings beautifully capture the essence of the remote landscapes he portrays.
Coleman’s work often depicts Indian encampments, wildlife, and hunting scenes set against majestic natural backdrops, evoking a sense of stepping into the past. Using a blend of realism and atmospheric elements, his art showcases animals in their autumnal prime, reflecting a harmonious connection between artist, animal, and nature.
